About You: I am enjoying my “new life” for the past 3 years in Sutton after selling my businesses I was involved in for over 30 years. I took over my father’s company where we manufactured nonmetallic synthetic steel strapping. I travelled the world sourcing raw materials and selling along with my teams from Quebec, Croatia and Mexico. Now I am able to “smell the flowers”, sit and read a book while savoring my surroundings, as well as meet and make new friends. I was running all over the world before, worked like crazy (loved it), however now I am grateful to be surrounded by positivity, a wonderful and kind husband, grown kids and a loving dog (Labrador/German Shephard). All, who have become a part of my everyday life! I would have loved to be at the 50th high school reunion, however I had a hip replacement early September, so cannot be present.
Favourite Memories from MRHS: Miss Franklin who used to stride into the classroom, humming a dismal tune and starting the class by telling us that we must concentrate and work hard with the material she is teaching us.
Favourite Teacher(s): Dahan-French, Mr. McCurdy-Mathematics, Ms Campbell-Chemistry, Mrs. Huntly-Spanish
