About You: I’ve been fortunate over the years to be involved in various projects and organizations that have contributed to positive community outcomes. For instance, I helped establish one of the Milton Parc housing co-ops and have worked with non-profits like the Urban Ecology Centre and Heritage Montreal in Montreal, as well as ICLEI in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to working as an urban planner, both there and in San Diego, I had the privilege of serving as a commissioner with Montreal’s Office de Consultation Publique for about 15 years. I’ve also enjoyed teaching and contributing to scholarly and popular discussions through co-authoring books and other publications.

Favourite Memories from MRHS:

  • Hanging out with the “Nut Corps”
  • Uncontrollable laughter in Spanish class – it even caused Miss Huntley to break into a smile.
  • Why was Mr. Angregian always so angry?

Favourite Teacher(s): Mrs. Speyer (history), Mrs. Spanier (math).
