About You: An exciting journey. I am very much an entrepreneur. I moved to California in 1996. My primary business is as a film and television producer. My most recent film is a documentary, “21 Miles in Malibu”, which has turned me into an advocate. I have spoken to the government, etc. My wife and I started a non-profit, “The Emily Shane Foundation”, that helps children in middle school who are falling through the cracks succeed. Recently, I became a columnist in our local paper, The Malibu Times.
